I'm wondering what would be the simplest method to record Sirius Satellite radio. As a future subscriber, I will be able to log in and listen on the computer, but sometimes I may not be at the comp when Howard is on. Any suggestions on an app to use to record it?
Gabe
just find a sound recorder app or something, google is your friend smile.gif

I am well aware that google is my friend. I was trying to get an answer from someone who has actually recorded it already and to find out what form the feed is in, be it Real, QT, WMV or what.

The feed is in Satellite Radio form... plug the radio into your line in on your sound card, press record on Sound Recoreder or find an app that records sound... blink.gif

Yep, not much else you can do. They'll never make a PC sat tuner (they've said as much repeatedly) so that's your only option until the portable recievers with caching come down in price - and even then, all they do is timeshift, so you can't tell it what to record.

They do have PC tuners.

Sirius provides on-line listening free for its subscribers. I figure that since I'm not in my car for fours hour a day and listening to the radio at home is not really an option I would probably just subscribe and not buy any radio at all. I could record what I wanted and listen later or burn cds for when I am in the car.
