I have a minor problem with my toolbar in Firefox...



As you can see, it's squished over on the left. I can get it "grow" back to normal by opening the Customize menu or closing all the tabs (most likely because it redraws that part of the GUI). Anyone seen this? Know what's causing it or how to fix it?

Try right-clicking a toolbar, choose Customize, then Restore Default Set. That might fix it.

On occassion, I get that same problem under Firefox.

The way I (temporarily) resolve it, is toggle the "Bookmarks Toolbar" off and back on via the right click toolbar menu.

I temporarily fix it as is with closing tabs or just opening the Customize menu. I'm looking for a more permanent fix... Oddly it only occurs on my computers at work (laptop and desktop), but not my 2 desktops at home.

I'll try the Restore Default Set, but I have wiped it clean, reinstalled, installed on a fresh Windows, and it seems to keep coming back at work. Never seen it occur at home and I've been using Firefox more at home than at work.

Yeah, I unfortunately don't know of a permanent fix, but I would be interested in finding one as well. Even if that entails an updated release due to Mozilla fixing a bug in the software.

I only use Firefox on my main computer at home though, so I have no other installations with which to compare it.

It happens on both my installations of it...

To fix it, I just click to 'resize' the window, and it restores it. I don't change the size, but the simple clicking fixes it.

I did some searching in bugzilla and couldn't find anything. I'm going to post it on Mozillazine.org in their forums to see. I'll provide a link to the thread so we can all see it.
