The minor war between Apple and Jon Lech Johansen, which had appeared to be over, has escalated further today with a new release of the PyMusique software. The new software bypasses the security fix that Apple had released in iTunes 4.7 to disable the PyMusique hack, and means that PyMusique users can continue to buy and download music from iTunes which is DRM free.
Apple are no doubt going to be upset by this, and we expect them to respond rapidly. However, continuous product upgrades to a piece of software used by tens of millions of people around the world is not something that can be done lightly, so it is quite possible that Apple are going to be looking at legal action instead.

Legal Action Against Jon Johansen The Creator of this hack, for apple to go after the users who use it would be pointless,go after the source then the users will have to buy apple music with drm.

>.> To be honest, Apple is pushing it, There are plenty of programs out there that can be used free to obtain MP3 music. Its the users who decide to pay the right way to get there music. They dont HAVE to, they do it to support the music industry. If Apple is going to sue its users for PAYING for there music, and wanting to listen to it mobily in other ways then there iPod, then there is a such thing as Limewire Pro. I think they need to stop legally raping there users.
