everytime I try and download a file from bittorrent 4 I get "blah blah program" : A torrent with the same contents (infohash) is already open. Cannot start another. (Check the list of known torrents.)"

This happened to me when BT didn't close and is still running in the background with the torrent you had open, go into task manager and look for btguidownload.exe or somethign to that effect and end all processes of it and try again... i thought it was just a bug in the beta hence i havn't used 4.1 or 4.0 official yet...

I'd recommend using Azureus. I wasnt a big Torrent Fan till i started using Azureus. Its Kick Ass

All you need is Java SDK or something i cant remember
Just download the Java Platform from sun.com

I'm kinda paranoid about using bit torrent, lol.

Azureus is the most popular since it's free and has a lot of options. You may as well try that instead

I love Azureus now, its working, I guss I have the java 1.5, never downloaded it, I have sp2 and the latest sp2 updates so I guss I have java or Azureus wouldent be working, if I dident have java what would I expect Azureus to do?

Azureus is okay but Shareaza is much better I think for a bit torrent client, cause it connects to gnutella and edonkey as well as Azureus users and from bearshare too as well as some others.

I also use limewire pro 4.8 for a kazaa replacement
