hey guys.
anyone know of a good hard driver recovery program?
Dynamic disk > Damaged > Quick Formated
Everytime I upgrade to XP SP2 windows gets an access denied when "reading" the atapi.sys file. So I replaced it thinking it was just damaged or something and now Windows reports my second drive damaged. I figured I was screwed anyway so I quick formated it in hopes that I'd be able to restore it later. and now here I am.
I've tried a bunch of programs and none of them do I what I want. Some don't even work and some don't restore directory structures.
I need the directories restored!
I've tried HandyRecovery(doesn't work at all), Easy Recovery(no directories), lost & found(doesn't read drives correctly if at all), Virtual Lab works perfectly, but will cost me $500 just to copy the shit!!! AND I've tried almost every utility in this Hiren's boot disk thingy with no results.

I used a program called Acronis Recovery Expert that comes part of this:

It did manage to get my deleted partition back smile.gif
