Today Mozilla released an update for the browser Firefox, the update contains several security fixes.Fixed in Firefox 1.0.4
- MFSA 2005-44 Privilege escalation via non-DOM property overrides
- MFSA 2005-43 "Wrapped" javascript: urls bypass security checks
- MFSA 2005-42 Code execution via javascript: IconURL

They need a new update system.. like IE and updates. You don't have to reinstall it.

i think they will have a new update system in 1.1 tell then its not a big deal to install a new version.

Thanks, consider it done. I much rather an update once a month than knowing of a flaw in a browser *cough* IE *cough* and waiting 4-5 months for a cumulative fix.
Yeah...agreed. It is a pain to download the entire installer again after every update
