I'm looking for software that can use motion detection to activate recording by a webcam. Does anyone know of any programs that can do this?

The software that came with Logitech Quickcams could do it... check on their site

it's not as bubbly a GUI as logitech, but it's powerful. It does timed webcam shots, live webcam via a JPEG server, and also motion detection/recording/snapshoting

Let's you also select the area of the picture to be watched and it can upload or email photo's of "intruders"

We use a Geovision system, which works perfectly. It's a complete system (requires a pci card), but there is no end to what it can do, and if installed on a fast pc with good storage can keep a record of everything that happened for several months.
