Guys im looking for a program can control UPS so it can run some scripts to shutdown the other machines, is there a program working with all UPS types ?

There are windows command line tools you can use to shut down remote machines. You could add the lines needed to use those to a batch file. Most UPSs come with software that will allow you to run a program before shutdown; just point to the batch.

Arctirus thanks so much man, i find this option. whats hard now, is shuttingdown the Unix box, i sent asking about that, i need a way to alt eas bypass telnet to the box and halt it via a script.

If it is an apc ups, then there is software called apcupsd that can shut down the pc once the battery reaches a certain level and so on. Catch is you need to connect the ups usb/serial cable into the linux/unix box.
