OK, I have burned countless CD/DVD ISO files, but now, I need to know how to make that ISO file. I wanna take a few of my disks and make perfect backups, but I don't want to do CD to CD. How can I make them into ISO files (some are bootable, so it needs to do that too). thanx

use the Nero Cd Copy tool to record to the Image Recorder. You will have the option to save as an ISO or the NRG format.
Alcohol 120% also does ISO creation.
There's tons more apps

Maybe I should've been more specific. FREE is the word I should've added. Sorry for the confusion. I want a free app to do this.

MSFN's CDImage GUI is a popular freeware one as it puts a nice GUI frontend on the original CDIMAGE command-line utility from MS.

Yup. It will even make it bootable if ya want.

Nice lil handy tool. Great compression.
