Okay, this thing is REALLY pissing me off right now. every 3 out of 5 people on my list *outside ieX tongue.gif* * has this annoying bug/virus with MSN Messenger sending auto messages and it will give you a link followed by your email address and you click on it, it will try to download a batch file for windows. You run the batch file, i dont know what happens then. I didnt download it.

But has anyone been experiencing this? I know its not me as the people from who ive been getting these messages from have been sending it to others aswell. So my PC isnt affected. But as a safety measure just in case, i changed the Security settings on MSN Messenger folder so that no one is allow to write to it.

but still, this thing is strange. Funny, all the people with no computer knowledge changed their nicknames to:
"OMG! I HAVE A VIRUS SENDING MESSAGES!! DONT CLICK !!!!!"

i think and only think, the batch file modiefies msnmsgr.exe so that the thing not only infects your PC, but automatically sends messages to others?
