My boss neglected our mcafee subscription so it's now run out. I was thinking this might be a good time to look around. Suggestions?

You will hear all the common names again (and again tongue.gif ), but for what it's worth: look at Symantec Anti-virus corp edition...

Very manageable, you can configure it to be totally silent (i.e. nothing pops-up on your clients, they don't have to do a thing, so they can't do anything wrong).

And the latest version offers the extra of spyware detection, which is the biggest new plague if you ask me.

Me also, it's far lighter than NAV, and is competent. Nod32 might be more efficient, but Symantec's server management for enterprises are second to none

Humm with 4 votes for SAVC I might have to try it out, when I next format.

But for now I'm using McAfee VirusScan Enterprise + Anti-Spyware Module 7.1.0

We run McAfee Enterprise with EPO for our desktops and SAV for our servers. EPO can do some extremely cool things, and make the desktops just as transpartent as SAV can. However, its reporting system is overly complex, and it requires a ton more work to get and keep running.

SAV Corp FTW.

I'm running mcafee enterprise with EPO right now. It's ok I guess but doesn't update as well as I'd like it to. I'm surprised I haven't heard people saying trend.

I'll place a vote for McAfee ePO and VSE 8.0i

SAV 9 or Sav 10.1 if it's out. smile.gif
Foxconn
