I have this movie I want to watch with my girlfriend and I want to stream it to her PC... I tried using VLC but it only streams the audio and I can't ever get the video to show up. Any other good programs or tutorials? And what's the easiest format to stream.
Neil
hmm....well if its in mpeg format you could always stream it over a network by using windows media encoder. works really well and you can have it loop\ on demand video.

it only has wmv, wma, and asf support sad.gif

argh i swear to god ill kill everyone now its just pissing me off because the second i double click on the mpeg in the custom config the damn pc just sits there and does nothing and in task manager sometimes ill get 1 or 2 percent CPU usage out of it but the program just locks up... I don't know if I have to let it set there for a bit if thats normal... It is a 700 MB Mpeg :-/
Neil
hmmm that also depends on the codecs you have installed for the mpeg i notice that if you use cyberlink or nero sometimes it will crash...if you use something like mainconcept decoder from the klite codec pack you should be okay.

reinstall WME. sometimes it's weird like that and a reinstall fixes it. mabye you have an older build?
Pi Is A Rational
using the wmp9 one from MS site unless they got a new for wmp10 but I used InterVideo WinDVD's codecs and that fixed it.
