Wow, at least it was addressed quickly. If IE had that problem, it'd be another month before the update. Just one more reason to love FF. Thanks Nightwind Hawk.

ie did have problems that firefox has and they have been fixed
i did use firefox but went off it when i started noticing alot more security bugs, semms unsafe to me and now a stability bug, so much for me going back to it, cant wait for IE7
Firefox had 56 security bugs, (now fixed) but doesnt it make you wonder how many more there are to come!

Isn't one of the major complaints how IE has so many updates? Seems no matter what Firefox does that emulates IE, it's okay, but if IE does it, you guys shit all over it. rolleyes.gif

I dont really care one way or the other. They both have their respective issues. It seems most software does its just a matter of popularity as to whether they get exploited or not. Having said that my surfing experience is greatly enhanced by the funtionality FF offers over IE. I will stick with FF until IE surpases it. Which of course IE will eventually do. It will be Netscape vs IE all over again. Browser Wars Round whatever.

I've never complained about the updates. I actually enjoy the updates - it shows me they are fixing it.

Naw...actually, I thought they were complaining that IE hasn't had a major feature update since it was released a few years ago. As a guy who writes pages for fun, it annoys me that I can't use transparent PNGs, useful CSS effects, etc, because Internet Explorer doesn't render them correctly. I'll be glad when IE7 comes out; perhaps they'll fix some of these problems. Although, it still doesn't help those on 98s or 2000s...

Oh, and my main browser is Opera. I do use Firefox for testing, though (It shows a big border around an image if you leave the "border="0" tag off. Opera covers it up), and it's okay.

Time they made an automatic update package. I'm beginning to hate downloading the whole thing manually every time they make a new version.
