Any suggestions OSX wants to own everything...? May have to install on 2nd HD just to get it up!
Get a boot loader like grub. Do you have a working version that will run on 64 bit?

Well couldnt figure how to dual boot but I just installed it on a ole 40Gig drive. It runs pretty smooth fr a beta, better than Vista but cant get my on board sound to work. Whats the chances of MSI to suuport drivers..? My ole G3 pismo ran it better with 400mhz and a gig of ram than my P4 3gig with 2 gigz. Hopefully software update will be enabled for patches... lol!

What the heck has this thread got to do w/ beta software

@brat: I believe that the original author considered it beta, due to the whole
OSx86 project being a work-in-progress. Especially since it's not officially supported by Apple.
OSX86 10.4.1 and 10.4.3 are prety much working now on PC's. Maxxuss just got OSX86 10.4.4 up on PC's with SSE3. In a few weeks 10.4.4 should be fairly widely working. And the 10.4.5 update has just been released by Apple. Fun.
In the news:

Understand that there will be absolutely no support for motherboard drivers, and Apple are more likely to sue you than help you when you run it.
As for dual booting, i find that installing osx first then xp works, you can use the osx installer's boot selector to reset osx to boot instead of xp; it'll add xp to your osx boot options.
For your sound, if you use ac97, then there are kexts on osx86project.org that'll work. If it's anything else, you probably won't have any luck; try their wiki.
