Nero has become too bloated, if you ask me. I still use it, but it is gotten ridiculous. To update takes 4 downloads. Keep it simple, stupid.

It sounds like you need a new burner, or more reliable media...

I mostly just use package one, but you're right. It's a pain to re-download the whole packages every time and reinstall them. I hope they have a good automatic update feature in this one, where it downloads and applies the updates itself in small patches.

But if they stop adding "features" people will have no reason to buy the new version. Sad....

nobody buys nero, though. they make most (read: all) of their money on OEM bundle deals with manufacturers.

Tried it, and I wasn't too impressed. Not much of a difference except for the Nero Scout. The package seemed to look a little "unfinished". I've went back to 6.6.0.16 until 7.0 is released officially.

Youre right... The only time i have legally had nero is when I got the OEM with my DVD burner, at least i have an OEM liscense, so its MORALLY ok to get it from a torrent. But I dont care.
I Love nero, I have never had a problem, ever.

i am using nero 7 now and it a lot beeter tahn nero 6 more options and less bugs in it and it burns quicker

Sep 30 2005, 15:41
Depends on the user. No new useful options for me, and I use it daily for DVDR and clonetesting. But it has an improved UI, and "less bugs" I guess...And it doesn't burn faster

For you all personally i find the NERO Scout is annoying to be always appear in my computer, so i searched for a way to get rid of it and i find the solution is unregister a dll here it is the command, you just need to copy it in RUN and apply it:
regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\Lib\MediaLibraryNSE.dll"
