Okay, so I (finally) picked up a Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000, USB 2.0 webcam from Newegg and crossed it off my list of "Toys". I've got it setup now using their default QuickCam drivers/software.
Therefore, I was wondering what suggestions you guys may have for webcam software to simplify publishing images and/or live streams to the Internet? 'cause I did a quick Google on the subject and it came up with a lot of results, so I was hoping I could get some help narrowing it down. Let me know then and thanks in advance.
Note, it does NOT have to be freeware. I'm also open to purchasing the right software given that it has the features/functionality I'm seeking.

www.ConquerCam.com
It's a compact application with some very nice features (overlays, FTP uploads, most recent images, favorites, security cam/recording, live image server [F5 to load a snapshot at that time]). There's a free version which just puts a DEMO overlay on like every 5 images, it's not too expensive to buy, best one i've used

@quantumAlpha: Well I've downloaded & installed ConquerCam and it's looking pretty good, so thanks for the suggestion. However, I must say I'm disappointed in the fact that the latest version is still a beta from September 2003.
Therefore, another one I've downloaded to try is
TinCam.

What about the TimerShot PowerToy for XP? It's the last one listed
here.

not to forget webcamxp.com it offers 2 version a free (with their logo in 1 of the 4 corners) and a pro (paid) wich offers some extra functionability... also has this ftp functionability & live stream + chat functinability (atleast when i used it a few years ago, since then i think it might even be better...)
to bad no upnp support, would be better...
and heck they aso offer a server thingy so you can control multiple cams located at diffrent locations...

@Dutch2005: I had webcamXP on my consideration list from last time, but both then & now, I don't see a feeware version of the software on their web site.
I see a Private edition for $39.95, a Pro edition for $79.95, and a trial of Pro, so please clarify things.
