I heard about this on TheInquirer. there's a video out there made by a BattleField fan that kinda shows an Islamic guy killing American soldiers.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmUWFb9_vP0...rch=Sonic_Jihadnow the thing about this is that the guy made the video as a joke but the media dikes took it as a "jihad training game." It's quiet funny how the media people panic so easily over a poorly homemade video. Plus the fact that EA is calling it a "mod."

If this is best for the joke zone then fine, but I think it's a political issue because even the US Army thinks this video is for real and the government might take drastic action because of these types of videos.
.....for god's sake. the guy used a trial version of FRAPS

I for one don't believe the terrorists don't even have the mental capacity to use a computer letalone mod a game for training anyways.

*that* was what the media was throwing a fit about? Didn't the corny music and the Team America lines give it away? "I put a jihad on them"
which is why it ended up appearing on the same pro-insurgent websites as the lion of fallujah videos.
it was made in jest, and ended up on a website where it was not meant to be taken as a joke.
that is WHY it became a big deal, where it ended up, not the fact "I could hear my goats screaming for me"
you laugh at this because you are educated enough to know it is a joke. heck, if it were funny, I would laugh at it,.. but the production quality is easily as good as most example of middle eastern propaganda, because their entertainment standards are MUCH lower.
This could easily be used for recruiting in the middle east,.. even if that was not its intention.
now, the dude who made the mod has his own reasons, and i think they are more anti-bush than pro-terrorism. we can not hold him anymore responsible for the mod/vid than we could hold the people who play terrorists on tv or in the movies, unless he directly implicated himself.
one of the criteria for propaganda is that it is not accidental or incidental...
