Apple has just updated their USA store with the MacBook.
It's the successor from the iBook and is available in black and white.

I'm very suprised they went with the Core Duo CPU. I was almost certain they'd go with the Core Solo, especially on the lowest model.
1100 isn't that bad at all for what you are getting.
Sweet!!! Maybe I can try and encourage my Vocational Rehabilitation to purchase it for my accommodations at college since I am a deaf quadriplegic. It's only $1,100

went an played with one at the apple store today, i must say the new keyboard doesn't sit at all right with me. think, that weird calculator style keyboard you get on some of the smaller sony vaios, but with slightly more travel and a firmer feel. they have a really odd spacing too...
i much prefered the ibook keyboard.

It has the glossy display...which means it'll reflect sunlight, lights..anything really. It'll function as a mirror.
