I remember a year ago I was on yahoo messenger and I recieved an IM from someone saying they were interested in my personal profile. Yes, I had a yahoo personal's profile

So anyways I'm thinking okay cool lets talk. Then this woman starts telling me that shes stranded in a hotel room broke in Afghanistan and needs someone to send her money in order for her to get back to the united states. It was funny too, because she started to tell me this long and boring story that she is an American citizen but her family is from afghanistan and that her mother was dying from cancer so she flew out to the country to see her before she died. Upon arriving she finds out that mommy dropped dead from complications and that her family left the country and she was alone and had no way to get back to the states.

So out of curiosity I asked her how much money did she need? She immediately said 1200 USD. I laughed at the figure and started to think. I knew this was a scam, but I played a long. I asked her what was in it for me, and she said that she would be a very "passionate" friend as she put it. I started telling her how lonely I was making her go on and play her little game. I told her that I couldn't send her the money, but would it be okay if I gave her my credit card number. She immediately said yes.

Now here comes the funny part. Well, remember those Amex gift cards? They are exactally like credit cards but they have a prepaid balance. I ended up getting one for like 10 bux at work for something, and I used it to buy a pack of smokes and something to drink and there was 5.33$ left on it. So I gave her the number and waited for her reaction.

A few minutes later she starts calling me names and said I was ripping her off and it wasn't a joke.

Thats when I typed these exact words, "If you are so fucking broke you stupid cunt, then how in the fuck can you afford a fucking hotel room, a computer, and internet access and that your i.p. address isn't orginating from afghanistan but miami florida?"

she logged off, I sent the conversation (excluding my rant) to yahoo admin and never heard from her again.
