I got this network service called Network Monitor Driver in my network properties. I know it's no big deal to just disable it and leave it but I have no clue how it got installed and every time I try to uninstall it, the properties window freezes and explorer runs at 50% CPU power(because I have dual core.) Any ideas on how to get rid of this or at least repair it?
Taco Bell
Yeah, that's used by packet monitoring/sniffing programs.

To remove it then, you could just try rebuilding the whole LAN connection from scratch.
Scott
Yeah or use the LSP Fix and Winsock fix, rebuilds everything for you.

It's in my fix pack: http://users.eastlink.ca/~iexbeta/FixPack.rar

Yes, I understood you before, but doesn't hurt to have such added clarification.
