Hey, I was about to format a customer's machine today and realized along with the customer that their nero key was half torn on their CD packaging. Nero is installed with that key, so I was wondering how to retrieve it from the registry. Exact registry key would be great. It's the latest Nero 7.

Version 6 has it here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\Info

Nero7 is a bit different, you might just want to backup the entire HKLM\software\ahead tree. it seems the product codes are encrypted under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ahead\Installation\Families\Nero 7\Info
