It looks like microsoft are running .gbl servers, but, afaik that TLD doesnt exist, i remember reading someone elses post on here about spyware.. then for some reason i ran a netstat, and found i was connected to a .gbl, and when i signed out of msn it was gone.
is it just an rDNS trick MS are doing? Cause ive got an email from a friend on MSN/Hotmail and it has the .gbl in the header information.

Mostly, Im just wondering whats going on... *googles and board searches*

Might have been something within their local network....
Our school uses ".fdls" (Fond du Lac Schools) on their local domain names

That couldn't have been the case though, as the entry for *.gbl was showing up on my computer.

Edit: I assume it must be a customised reverse dns address, as www.iexbeta.com resolves to 'hosting2.pctech4u.co.uk'

Edit2: With a quick bit of investigation I picked out the domain name again.
'by2msg1242017.phx.gbl' and its IP is.. 207.46.26.112.

The last 24 hours I've had a lot of access from users in the .gbl domain with some addresses in the 65.55.165.* range, in my forum http://www.navigate3d.no
