At work somehow I managed to install IE 7 on a user's computer when initially setting it up -- I must have gotten overly zealous in my upgrading.
Anyway, while I was gone my boss tried to uninstall it -- only now there is some sort of odd rendering issue on the user's account. When he tries to view web pages there is is hardly any formatting/background color and certain links won't render properly and the pages just look like garbage.
Logging in as Network Admin onto this computer will display the pages properly.
I re-installed Service Pack 2 to see if that would fix it, but that didn't cure my issues. Also, look at Outlook 2003 -- it looks like a Windows 95 app instead of one for Windows XP. I also installed FireFox but the rendering problem is there as well -- what could be causing this?
