Wasn't it only a short while ago that they released 8.0/8.5?

man, I haven't used EasyCD since they were part of Adaptec... Looks like it's gone a long way from then.

Well, i dont know why but i like roxio more than nero, i have them both all the time, but i always prefer roxio, maybe roxio became bad in version 7 but it back to its performance and neat features in version 8, i dont know yet about version9, if anyone got his hands on it please let us know.

I ran away from Roxio after Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 (that thing caused a lot of problems with my DVD burner). I've been a happy Nero user since then.

I think Adaptec's product was better back in the day when it's only purpose was burn CD's. I guess once it turned into a "Digital Media Suite" it just lost its way.

I see Version 9 is Vista Compatable

I guess we will see Nero Version 8 pretty soon since ALL Nero versions are incompatable with Vista

And another stiff $$$ pricetag to upgrade angry.gif

It's been "released" go and get it - if you like EMC that is.
