I know this has been asked before..but I'm looking for backup software that will backup to an external USB HD. I want to do delta or incramental backups.
I don't need to boot to DOS or anything, just store my data. I was using Windows One care, but I'm not happy with the resources it hogs, and the extra features I didn't need.

I'd recommend
the older, but now free WinBackup v1.86 software from
Uniblue as it has all of the functionality you're asking for dk.
However, if you find you need something that's even better and more flexible, then you could
try/purchase their latest WinBackup v2.0 software.

I prefer acronis true image because it's quite reliable and easy in use, by the way TI satisfies all your requiarements.

I prefer it too, but as long as its just a simple back so as what Taco bell said WinBackup will do it and even the normal Windows built in backup utility (NTbackup) will do the job.

I don't trust MS backup because it is really unsafe and primitive. If you don't want to buy True Image you can get it here for free:
