I'm using Photoshop CS2 under Vista RTM.... the problem is that while activation for PS went fine, and the program works fine, the "Do you want to Register" dialog pops up EVERY time i start the program. I have tried just registering to shut it up but that didnt work and it appears to reset again....

The only thing i can think of is that the install of Vista i did is causing it, maybe the date trick (install in 2099 then set the date back) might be somehow causing this but it does not seem related... especially since i installed it after with the correct date.

Could be a Vista related bug maybe... anyone else experienced it? Maybe they can tell me where the registration info is stored so i can sort it manually so it stops bugging me.

either on the pop up or in the help(?) menu.

Yeah on the pop-up, but even if i click that it still comes back next time i start the program...

ah, it looks like this is common. there's no fix on this link: http://www.mstechtoday.com/2006/09/16/now-...-vista-rc1-x64/ but at least he mentions that the registration window keeps popping up
