Global warming causes adverse effects on weather, not just warming it up, but making its extremities more severe.

Still, I find it very funny and ironic.

Nice find xD.

I live in southeast indiana, the tri-county area near cincinnati, and well we are getting hit hard with probably one of the worst ice storms in years. My back yard looks like a tornado went through it and right now its still pouring snow/ice and its going to until tomorrow morning.

One tree is completely destroyed so far, broken into three places. Its not dead limbs either, literally large branches are breaking/splitting off the trees. Too many close calls so far, one almost demolished my car.

I have pics, but I have no way to host them to show you guys.

its pretty bad.

as Stephen Colbert said, global warming is a hoax, just take a look at New York and their 100+inches of snow. laugh.gif laugh.gif

here is pic I took of my backyard with my cell phone (Motorola E815 1.4 megapixel) the day after the ice storm we had for two days straight earlier in the week:

just click on the pic to get view a larger version of it, which you can see it a lot better and see the damage. Just for those who are wondering, that isn't deadfall either, they were actually budding tree limbs that couldn't take the weight of the ice anymore and snapped off and fell. I tell you though, it was some scary shit when i was outside taking pictures during the ice storm cause the sound of the trees breaking, I had a few close calls myself and then decided to stay inside until the storm was over.

how bad are those sandstorms? I'm just asking cause we don't get those here really, at least I don't think we do. I've seen some vids on the net from countries that get them, but is it like crazy damage or what?
