The beta testing process is very important because it helps ensure that we release the best possible product. If you are selected to participate in the beta program, you will be asked to install the product and report your testing experiences to Microsoft. Reporting will include installation surveys, bug reports, and other means as required by Microsoft.

The application process consists of a series of questions that are required for participation in the beta program. Once we receive your application, it will be reviewed for consideration.

I applied; while I was there I noticed an iscsi boot beta and got instant acceptance for that.

This has been around for a while, did it a few weeks ago. Should have posted about it sorry!
