I remember I used to sell a shit load of stuff on ebay about 3 years ago and made some good money, but man there are so many "scam buyers" out there as I would call them. Luckily for me adamj and I know eachother in RL and when I started selling stuff on ebay he warned me to be very careful and sent me an email with articles and stuff telling horror stories similar to what this guy went through (luckily for the guy and myself we knew it was a scam)

One time I was selling my first laptop (didn't need it anymore cause I got a new one) and then there was this guy from like China that wanted it and did the whole escrow thing on me too. I just simply told him no and have a nice day, by simply stating that I will only take the money through paypal and no other means what so ever. Of course I had gotten one stupid email after another from the ass monkey stating that it was safe and shit and just for shits and giggles I gave adamj a link to this so-called secure site and he pretty much did the same shit with doing a whois or whatever on it and found it to be a fake site.

Sadly there are so many people out there that don't do research before they do shit.

I remember the very first time I used ebay to buy something, it was like season 1 of the sopranos on DVD, so I get it for like 18 dollars, which was a fucking deal considering this was like 3-4 years ago and it was running for 100 bux. Well then afterwards the seller sends me a fucking message saying congrats on buying the VHS. I said what about the fucking DVD, and he said it was a VHS. So I told him I wasn't gonna pay, he got pissed and tried to report me to ebay. Then out of nowhere he sent me an email all piss drunk and even said he was drunk, saying that if I didn't send him his "fucking money" that he was going to "piss on my computer". So I sent that to ebay and they canceled his account and told me that I didn't have to pay cause he threatened me lol and then realized that his add did say DVD not VHS.

Anyways, I can't use ebay anymore unfortunately (but I'm not too heart broken over it). I sold a game on there and like this asshole got pissed cause I did not send it immediately after he won the auction cause like it was saturday night and monday was a holiday or something so it wouldn't be sent until tuesday. Well of course I go ahead and have paypal send me a check for what the guy had paid, and he then filed a complaint against me with both paypal and ebay and my account got suspended with both places. It sucks, but it just taught me that he was a fucking idiot gamer that is most likely 38 years old, lives with his parents, is about 999 pounds, looks similar to comic book buy from The Simpsons and just sits around in his fucking underwear while watching Anime porn thinking that he is indeed a level 78 Sorcerer lol.
