Maybe this news is very old and known, but I just found this amazing:

An interview with Dick Cheney in 1994(!) where he is asked whether the US (and the UN) should have invaded Iraq (and taken Baghdad) in the first Gulf War.

He says it would have been a bad call, then describes why not, predicting pretty accurate what happened in reality.
