Well I broke down and took the plunge. I bought an iPhone. biggrin.gif

Does anyone know of any decent software (IE not trialware, spyware infested shit) for iPhone video conversion? I don't think iTunes can do it?

Thanks smile.gif

Videora iPod video converter works great for my video ipod, i'm assuming they use the same/similar formats

Or, if being a cellphone as well, prefers the 3GP video format, there's a small little app i found called 3GP_Converter (creative name, right?)

Correct it should be similar formats. Biggest difference is that it supports widescreen resolutions. I tried Videora iPhone Converter but it just gave me some bogus generic error.

Found megui which has profiles for ipod, iphone and a bunch of other stuff. Seems to work great. smile.gif

If you're going direct from source (DVD) use Handbreak, free on both Mac and Windows versions. If source are divx or other clips/downloaded TV/Movies, iSquint on Mac, and Videora PC will transcode just fine.
