Interactive Networks Inc. (INI) recently released Instan-t Messenger 5.0 BETA, the newest available version of their signature multi-protocol instant messenger.

Featuring an array of improvements and brand new features, Instan-t Messenger continues to easily communicate users with their MSN Messenger, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ and Instan-t contacts, now also offering interoperability with Google Talk (Jabber). Users may also select a picture to display as their own (or opt for a webcam stream in its place), group all conversation windows into one through a new tab system, sort their contacts by network or status, search for specific contacts on their lists, create custom status messages, rename contacts and more.

Instan-t Messenger 5.0 BETA is offered free-of-charge through INI's Research and Development Site (INI Labs), as part of the company's ongoing program where users can participate in the creative process and continuous improvement of the company's many products. For a complete list of new features plus the opportunity to download the beta version, please visit http://labs.interactiveni.com.

Has anyone tried this, is it worth the download??
Scott
I did, it's actually not that bad. I thought it was spam at the time but it works quite good. Has the same issue as any other MSN client with file transfers though. Slow as shit. :S

Thanks for that input Scott!! I was hoping to use another IM, since my current yahoo IM is constantly flakey for me. I too was like you and just thought that perhaps it's just junk or useless spam. Thanks again!!
Scott
Pidgin is still better I find. And Adium for OS X.
