Bill Gates gave his 2008 CES keynote at 6:30 PST today. It is over now, but you will be able to watch it from the links below:
This was Bill Gates' final keynote for CES. He will retire from his full-time position at Microsoft later this year.

Well, it's over now. They didn't really reveal much that was totally new and exciting. Most of the new things that they talked about have already been shown on the Internet (or are actually already available for use).

I think the most exciting thing was the image recognition technology that Bill Gates talked about near the end. That would be awesome to move around a camera phone, and the phone show you information about what it is seeing. Or better yet, what if we had some kind of glasses that could do that? WOOOW!!! ohmy.gif

Okay, I have just invented something new. Glasses that can project information onto the lens, have a built-in camera, and are controlled by your cell phone. The camera can recognize hand motion, so you can control buttons and menus that are projected onto the glasses.

Yes, you might look a little strange using it, but it would be awesome! tongue.gif

Lol. Yeah it was good. I think that Microsoft Surface thing will take off if the price gets lowered a bit. Also it looked like Bill was having some troubles with the touch sensitivity on it. Color wheel was great though lol. That thing would be awesome if it was turned into a big graphics application.
