It doesn't interest me but it's something to make notable. If you check your regular DVDs you will notice that some are DTS and some are not. It's just (how I understand it) better audio quality. More channels, better bitrate, etc.

Sound quality - if you have a professional sound system. You'll def. notice the difference if a DVD/HDDVD/BRDVD has a DTS track.
