Hi folks,

yesterday I got my X-fi xtreme gamer and wanted to hook it up to the receiver via SPDIF but that flexijack shit doesn't work as advertised here. When I follow those steps, there is no Flexijack configuration option or it is greyed out (ugh).

I hoped that Creative finally got its act together after having myriads of driver issues with my now defunct Live, but it seems some things never change ermm.gif

Is there any trick to get this working in Vista 64? or do I need another driver (I used the one straight from the website)?

Oh and can anyone fill me in on what that Digital IO/module is and whether that may help.

Thanks in advance!

For everyone interested: the X-fi xtreme gamer's flexijack is emitting a red light beam. That's because it features a 3.5mm optical minijack as SPDIF out. All you have to do is get hands on a 3.5mm optical minijack to TOSLINK cable to hook up the X-fi with your receiver smile.gif
