Have an HP notebook or another notebook with the Intel 945 Chipset?

Most companies, like HP, list the maximum amount of RAM that you can use is 2GB (2x1gb) or 1x 2GB. Guess what. It's wrong (on most models running this chipset). My friend has an older HP notebook, intel core solo, same motherboard as the one I have in my dv6235nr though. Both laptop specs on the HP website list maximum 2GB. Just for shits and giggles we put in 4GB. It works fine. So I'll be ordering 2x2GB tonight.

Just wanted to point that out to some that don't know about this. I know I was kind of shocked especially because I ordered 2x1GB a few months ago based on HP's site.
