Bush and his White House people apparently don't have any computer skills at all. But they appear to have lost five million emails and the backups for those same emails, even if it was automatic and set up in such way that they should not have been deleted. The original system was setup by Bill Clinton. That system did work until it got destroyed by an "upgrade" by Bush.

Many someone here can go and help them restore those emails.

Well on that topic how does the RIAA/ETC know that the files being offered on torrent downloads are actually the songs/files in question when the prosecute someone? I mean, they would have to verify the files to make sure they work, make sure they are the copyrighted material before prosecuting someone right? They would need to download the files or play them on the suspect's computer before taking them to court for proof right? What happens if I share "Blink 182 - All The Small Things.mp3" and it's really me saying "Hi, my name is Scott." for 4 and a half minutes. Does the RIAA/ETC take this into consideration that they cannot just take someone to court over the filename alone?

Yes...although it is off topic, they have many methods of attack to determine this. They put watermarks into songs, they have their own torrent seeders which capture IPs. Plus, once they have the initial no questions asked warrent to seach your computer, they find all the rest. so even if that file was invalid, their warrent which said you were download illegal music would cover the shit they found later.
