Just noticed there was a Windows Update available this morning so I started polking at it to see what it was. It's an application compatability update that links to this KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947562

The KB article list which applications will run better on Vista after this update...one of the applications on that list is:
WinAntivirus Pro 2007 v5.0.356

...Which is a SmitFraud trojan/hijack variant.

So... is MS trying to make Vista "Fair" to both sides now?!?
