I need to give my boss a link to an ICS file with my availability in it. My iCal on my mac has 2 calendars - Personal and Work.

I've published these to www.icalx.com so i have links to ICS files that are kept up to date.

In google calendar, I've imported these ICS links, but I'd like a way to merge them into one calendar so I can give my boss one link with both my Personal and Work agenda on it, rather than having him look at 2 files to see when I'm free.

Suggestions?

Well you can merge two ICS files using Windows Calendar's import feature. That has to be done manually though, so I don't know if that would help you.

yeah, i'm looking for a mac/linux thing, preferably automatic, or at least scriptable into a cron job

ive seen a few python scripts, but nothing too exciting yet. was hoping for a lazy way to do this.

I suggest using Google Calendar instead of iCal. From there you can keep all your events on one calendar. If an event is personal, then you can mark it as "Private" and others will only see it as "Busy."

Google can automatically export your calendar as XML, ICS, or HTML. The HTML mode is really easy for others to view in a web browser. You can even customize it.
