This is pretty nice. Google added a new option to Gmail that lets you run the entire service through a secure connection rather than just the login page.

You could use the whole Gmail service through a secure connection before, but you had to remember to use "HTTPS." With this new setting, "HTTPS" will always be applied.

Theres a firefox plugin - CustomizeGoogle
this has allowed you to do this for almost all google services for a while

also has a TON of other nice features

it's by far my favorite firefox plugin

Well that should be pretty nice as long as the author doesn't ever put out an update to CollectGooglePasswords. biggrin.gif
