Today there was a new version of the physX driver released supporting G80-based GPUs (GF8800GTX/Ultra/GTS640/GTS320), adding to the ones shipped last month for the newer G9x and newer chips.
You can download the beta physx drivers here:
http://www.toomanydownloads.com/index.php?...3&Itemid=54You'll need the latest beta GPU drivers as well,
Vista 32There aren't a lot of games out there supporting PPU acceleration, but hey, it's free.

Thanks for the heads up. I went over to laptopvideo2go to get the latest drivers as well. Definitely works on my Dell Vostro 1500 w/ nVidia 8600M GT w/ Vista 64 (177.79). Now if only 3DMark Vantage didn't crash

Looks like the official rollout for this will be Tuesday of next week. There are a few previews of the software pack nV is releasing popping up around the hardware sites this morning.
I was able to get UT3 and GRAW2 to detect and run with PhysX enabled, but framerates on both were less than optimal on my SLI 8800GTS 320MB rig. I really need to rebuilt it, it's been almost a year since I last installed Windows on it and it's getting pretty crapped up.
On the negative side, not only did PhysX not get detected on City of Heroes, but the latest drivers break the game entirely on Vista. It's no wonder that CoH is in such trouble, given the level of support they offer to users - the only good info on compatibility and troubleshooting for the game is from players. I guess they want the best of both worlds - to collect subscriber fees, AND to provide no service.
I suppose this is redundant for me since I have Physx card right?
Oh NVM, installing.
