First, HardOCP shows that the performance of the Atom is substandard for its wattage and clock speed, now Tom's Hardware shows that the venerable A64 Lima core at 1ghz and 8w power consumption blows it away as well - while drawing less power and running without a fan! Just goes to show that newer and more hyped does not mean better.
It's just too bad that the A64 2000+ couldn't handle BluRay playback, the ability to make a silent FullHD MCE PC would have made this a truly killer CPU.
